Goals and numbers which are usually in our head – we now know how to achieve them realistically. In other programs, we end up writing down the numbers, but not practically worked on it going into detail. Here we are working practically on how to achieve the numbers and how we should we working on our business to achieve maximum profitability.
We got insight into how to really look at a business. We normally do business on a day to day basis. We don’t plan for next 2,5 years. This workshop forces you to look at what needs to be done today for growing in the next 2-5 years.
Arriving at very practical and implementable targets, not something conjured in the air.Its conducted in an informal manner, not like a classroom with a teacher. Everyone can interact with Ramas at any time, in any manner, in any language. Unless the concepts are understood very clearly by each owner,he doesn’t go ahead.
Format of the workshop was very different. It wasn’t a theoretical lecture over 2 days. It was spread over 5 weeks which allowed us to absorb and go back and implement it. Each time we tried to understand and implement things, we learnt something more about our business. The one-on-one sessions with Ramas is infinitely more powerful than anything we’ve experienced.
The biggest takeaway was to concentrate on a few important things so that you don’t lose your focus unlike the way we are usually where we are looking at too many things and you are where you started.
Business planning is not just sales planning but also operations, cash and people planning. That’s the biggest benefit of this workshop format. It gets into the details and helps you understand how sales and market decisions impact the working of your company
Earlier there was a general idea of where business will come from, but with this workshop it’s become very specific and clear – which customers need to be focused on, which need to be maintained, the actionables that are needed to be worked on right now for the next 1-2-3 years.
Design of the workshop is unique with onsite and offsite combination which gives complete individual attention.
I have attended 2 other such programs before but all those are general coaching while this is focused and targeted on your business, your industry and what you should do or not do for your specific situation. In other programs, the learnings are also generic in terms of how to build a company, how to do marketing, recruitment etc. Here it was about my company, my pain and my solution.
Other “coaches” talk about branding, advertising as the means to grow. Their strategy is on big ticket investments and expenses with no guarantee on results or growth. We spend and invest everything in advance and then hope things will work out. This workshop doesn’t focus on increasing expenses, but on improving profits step by step by investing only where absolutely necessary.
Any businessman wants such a balance between investments and results on an ongoing basis. This is the best learning that I gained from this workshop. It helped me save crores which I had earlier earmarked for branding and advertising since I realized that I could grow significantly more with the investments already made.
